Edge Agents are lightweight binaries (~10MB) that you install on a server behind your firewall. They make outbound HTTPS connections only - no inbound ports needed. The agent connects to your databases or file shares using credentials that stay local, collects data, and pushes it to your organization's isolated storage using presigned URLs.
No. Edge Agent credentials for your on-premise systems (databases, file shares) are configured locally in a YAML file and never transmitted to the cloud. The Control Plane only manages metadata, configuration, and routing - not your local credentials.
BYOC lets you run Runners in your own infrastructure while using our hosted Control Plane. Your data is processed entirely within your environment, and only metadata flows to the Control Plane. This gives you full data residency control while reducing operational overhead.
Each organization gets dedicated storage containers and Runner instances. There's no shared storage or processing between tenants.
Failed rows go to the Dead Letter Queue with full context including the error message, original data, and timestamp. You can review errors, fix the underlying issue (missing lookup entry, validation error, etc.), and retry specific rows without reprocessing the entire batch.
